How rules work. Rules are evaluated in Line # order (lowest first). Each rule maps a type of pay, deduction, or tax to a GL account based on the employee's brand, location, and position. Suppressed means no GL entry is created.

| Earning / Deduction Type | The specific pay types, deductions, or taxes the rule captures. |
| Category | Whether the rule maps an Earning (paid to the employee), a Deduction (withheld from the employee), or Other (employer-paid tax/expense, internal transfer, or suppressed). |
