Two workpapers. Both are the RCY counterpart of an RRS process, and the labor reclass shares a single import file across both entities.

## 80500 — In-house maintenance JE

The Intacct dimension balance report for acct 80500 (In-House Maintenance) for entity **E04**, showing period activity posted to DHC admin location **2091021** only.

  <Step title="Open the dimension balance report">
    The report shows acct 80500 with the period balance at location 2091021. Illustrative P5: $656.82 — **significantly smaller than the RRS maintenance book**, and likely a single contractor charge.
  </Step>
  <Step title="Trace what the total consists of">
    Confirm with Jeff what the period total is made up of — trace to the AP bill or the Fyle charge that drove the posting.
  </Step>
  <Step title="Reclass if the location is wrong">
    If the charge was coded to the wrong location — it should have been a specific DHC store location rather than the pooled 2091021 — prepare a reclassification JE before finals.
  </Step>
  <Step title="Escalate capital items">
    If the maintenance amount is material and represents a **capital improvement**, escalate to Jeff for capitalization review.
  </Step>
  <Step title="Confirm zero activity is genuine">
    RCY maintenance activity is much lighter than RRS. **If no entries appear in a period, confirm that no maintenance work was performed** and note accordingly in the workpaper.

  In Intacct this appears as **"Reclass Ops Maintenance payroll costs."** The allocation method changed recently — all in-house maintenance is now allocated **evenly across all stores** rather than region-by-region. ## Labor reclass — G&A labor allocation reclass

The **same** G&A labor reclass import used for RRS also contains RCY allocations. Reclasses move G&A employee payroll costs from pooled DHC admin locations to the appropriate RCY operating entities or new-store opening cost centers.

  <Step title="Identify the RCY rows">
    Review the IMPORT tab — it contains all labor allocation GJ entries for **both** RRS and RCY. Identify rows where the `LOCATION_ID` corresponds to RCY locations (prefix **200xxxx** or **2091xxx**).
  </Step>
  <Step title="Confirm the employee allocations">
    Confirm the employee numbers (EE IDs in the Memo column) are correctly allocated. G&A employees who split time between RRS and RCY should have their labor split according to the **agreed allocation percentages**.
  </Step>
  <Step title="Handle new-store labor">
    For employees supporting the **DHC-01354 opening**, allocate their payroll to acct **88250** (Pre-Open) at location **2001354** rather than to operating expense.
  </Step>
  <Step title="Import once for both entities">
    Import `IMPORT_P5_Labor_Reclass.csv` — this **single file covers both entities**. The import posts to RRS and RCY per the `SOURCEENTITY` column (**E01** = RRS, **E04** = RCY).

  <Step title="Verify the RCY postings">
    After import, run GL detail for accts **88200** and **88250** under entity E04 to confirm RCY allocations posted correctly.
